Chemical awareness has increased due to the fact that chemicals are everywhere and many of them harmful. An increasing number of parents are using this new information to decide upon bedding for their new baby’s nursery.

Organic baby bedding is defined as baby bedding that is made from organically grown cotton, sometimes in combination with non-organic cotton or with hypoallergenic polyester filling. Organically grown cotton with natural fibers such as wool or chemical free hemp provide different types or organic baby bedding. Some studies suggest that a baby’s small body more readily absorbs and retains pesticide residues than does an adult’s body; organic bedding helps keep this exposure from happening.
